This facility is designed to prepare students for the jobs of the future. With a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM)-heavy design focus, this building will meet the demand for much needed academic space. Additional labs for Biology, Astronomy and Chemistry will be added. A 300-seat lecture hall and additional classrooms will create space for more students in a high-tech learning atmosphere.
This building will also be home to EPCC’s Computer Science and Information Technology training programs that will offer students hands-on experience in cyber security, Cisco Systems and other specialized computer applications that will prepare graduates for careers in high-technology services. There will also be a new space to expand fine arts and music offerings. The inclusion of a First Time in College Center will allow students to receive the necessary resources and support they need to successfully complete their degree.
